Our
Story
Masjid Taha & Education Centre is a project of Taha Foundation, a registered charity (No: 131260) in the UK, based in Stratford, London. We received the keys to the property in the early weeks of December 2024. However, the property required a substantial amount of work to bring it up to the standards for a Masjid. Throughout the month of December, the team was working tirelessly to ensure the deadline for the opening was met and Alhamdulillah on the 5th of January 2025 the doors were open to the public and the daily salah commenced. The local area has been eagerly waiting for a masjid, with the growing number of Muslims within the locality we believe it was the right location to serve the community through our various services at the Masjid.
In March 2025, we performed our first Tarweeh, Eidul Fitr, Eidul Adha Salah and served more than 1000 worshippers throughout the month, Alhamdulillah.
Our
Vision
Masjid Taha & EC is a visionary and forward-thinking Masjid and Education Centre, along side the mandatory salah services we also take pride in facilitating various other services to cater for the local community. This includes services for the youth, women, children and the elderly. As per our slogan “Building bridges between the servant and Lord” our main intention is to connect with Allah swt and perform our Salah at the Masjid to maximise the rewards, at the same time a vision to become the most vibrant Masjid in the UK.
We aim to make this Masjid a community hub for all, a place which the community feels safe and mainly for the youth to feel empowered and ultimately connected to the Masjid.
